- Auxiliarists Augment Vessel Examination
Performing a vessel examination on an 88,500 ton cruise ship is no easy task. However, a Coast Guard Port State Control boarding team from Sector Los Angeles/Long Beach did just that. The boarding team consisted of six active duty Coast Guard and three Auxiliarists. They observed fire and other simulated emergencies. Take a closer look, now on SITREP, the Auxiliary's National e-magazine.

- 90 Years Young
That is the most succinct way to describe Auxiliarist Charles W. Baack. To elaborate on this description and describe in detail why he remains young at heart might make many folks half his age exhausted. Auxiliarist Baack was recently feted by his local Coast Guard station, even having the radio shack named in his honor. Read about this interesting and dedicated Auxiliarist, now on SITREP, the Auxiliary's National e-magazine.

Any business meeting of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, whether flotilla, division, district, or National Board, must proceed in an orderly way if it is to bring satisfactory results.
